Lion Emily Groover presents the Melvin Jones Fellow to Bellville Lions Club member
Harriett Rice in recognition of her commitment to serving the world community. Named for the founder of Lions Club
International, Melvin Jones, the fellowship is the foundation's highest honor. It is recognition of a commitment to
humanitarian service. Lion Harriett received a finely crafted plaque and lapel pin acknowledging her dedication
to the foundation's humanitarian goals. As a Melvin Jones Fellow, Lion Harriett becomes a part of a growing network of
individuals who are committed to improving the quality of life for people locally and in communities around the world.

Past Council Chair (PCC) Jerry Kaiser of Garden City, Georgia
was elected to serve as Council Chair at the MD18 state convention in Jekyll Island, Georgia in June 2009. PCC Kaiser
has been a member of the Bellville Lions Club since 1990 and has held many offices within the association, including Bellville
Lions Club President, Zone and Region II Chair , Vice District Governor and Governor for MD18B. Presently he is
serving as Leaderhip Chair for the district.
In recognition of his service to the Lions, PCC Kaiser has received
numerous awards including 100% Club President, the 100% Zone and Region Chair, 100% Vice District Governor, 100% District
Governor, four International President's Certificate of Appreciation, Lions International President's Leadership Award, Lions
International President's Award and most importantly the Golden Chain Award. In 2009, PCC Jerry Kaiser was elected in
the District 18B Hall of Fame and was selected as the Lion of the Year.
PCC Kaiser is a Century Club member to the Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, a progressive Ten Million
Dollar Club member of Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and a progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship.

| 1st VDG Brenda Nease |
1st Vice District Governor Brenda Nease of Garden City, Georgia has
been a member of the Bellville Lions Club since 1992 and has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Camp for the
Blind. She was elected as 1st Vice District Governor for District 18B at the district convention in May 2009.
She has also been an Assoicate Director to the Camp for the Blind and the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation.
She has served as Bellville Lions Club president as well as Zone and Region II Chair for MD18B.
Lion
Brenda is a graduate of the Southeastern Lions Leadership Institute. She is a Century Club member to the Georgia
Lions Camp for the Blind and a Progressive Ten Million Dollar Club member of the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation.
In recognition of her service as a Lion, Lion Brenda has received the 100% Zone and Region Chair Award, the
President Commendation Medal and was honored by her club with a Melvin Jones Fellowship.
